Ted Teshima has an astute understanding of the issues that contribute to a project's successful implementation - from consultation with staff and users to management of budgets and schedules. Ted is particularly effective at working with community groups on projects such as the River Run Centre in Guelph and Owen Public School in Toronto. As well as being partner-in-charge of a wide variety of projects including numerous large-scale mixed-use developments, Ted has been involved at a management level with almost all the firm's projects, working with clients to resolve issues of policy and other related matters. Ted became a partner with Moriyama & Teshima in 1970. Born in Vancouver, he received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto where he has served on the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture Advisory Board. Ted is a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and Royal Society of Arts (England) and a member of the Ontario Association of Architects and Architectural Institute of British Columbia. He was Director of the Board of the Ontario Heritage Foundation from 1983 to 1990. In 2002 Ted was honoured with the Order of da Vinci from the Ontario Association of Architects. Links:
