Interior Architecture

Since the 1960s Moriyama & Teshima has taken an integrated approach to its many award-winning buildings, providing interior design as well as architectural, landscape and planning services. We also provide interior design as a stand-alone service, working within existing structures.

We offer a complete range of services for government, corporate, retail, and entertainment projects of every size. We provide programming, space planning, and interior design, including furniture, fixture, equipment, and artwork selection. Projects range from Bay Bloor Radio, a high-end electronics shop located at the lower level of a Toronto high-rise to the Canon Corporate Headquarters building.

Our integrated approach extends to our working process as well as to individual projects. Our senior designer is Chen Cohen. One of our partners, Jason Moriyama, was an industrial designer before becoming an architect. Our interior designers and architects work together on projects to provide clients with innovative designs as well as technical expertise.

We work closely with clients in order to understand their objectives and goals. We see ourselves as problem-solvers, providing clients with options, creating a roadmap that guides the process, and balancing aspirations with functional needs and budgets.
