The Investor Learning Centre is an independent, not-for-profit organization located in Toronto's financial district, which offers public programs in Canadian investing. Moving its Resource Centre to the ground floor storefront at the Standard Life Centre was a strategy to become more publicly accessible. High ceilings and finishes of maple and steel give the Resource Centre a light airy feel that welcomes visitors into what is often an intimidating area of study. The ILC is independent of commercial interests and is funded by revenues from its own low cost programs and by an endowment from the Canadian Securities Institute, the national educator of Canada's securities industry. |
