Gaby Aviad

B.Arch. Sci., M.Arch.

With a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Toronto, Gaby Aviad brings a depth of experience in both architectural practice as well as marketing to Moriyama and Teshima Architects. Gaby manages and directs the Marketing efforts, which include proposal responses, presentations, award submissions and publications.

Over the years, she has directed dozens of successful project pursuits and competitions that led to the award of many publically-tendered projects, including major academic, cultural and community facilities across the country. She designed and produced numerous prize-winning award submissions, including Governor General's Awards, OAA Awards, Canadian Architect Awards and spearheaded national and international publications.

Her architectural background, coupled with her marketing and business expertise allows her to effectively advocate and promote the firm with both design insight as well as market understanding. Gaby's strong communication abilities and organizational skills make her a valuable member of the M&T team. A storyteller at heart, Gaby takes pleasure in transforming any architectural fact - even the most technical or mundane - into an interesting and thought-provoking narrative.
